Melissa Bidlack, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist and singing voice specialist at Johns Hopkins Vocalism Centre. She completed her clinical fellowship at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Middle, specializing in voice, swallowing, and neurological disorders. Ms. Bidlack received her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Columbia University Teachers Higher. She too holds a Principal of Music degree from Rice University in Vocal Functioning. Prior to her career in oral communication-language pathology, she performed as a professional opera vocalist and served on the voice faculty at Whitman College.

Patti's professional interests include pediatric feeding-swallowing disorders, apraxia and other voice communication-language disorders, and resonance disorders due to cleft palate/velopharyngeal dysfunction. She likewise specializes in the rehabilitation of neurogenic speech-language and swallowing disorders. She serves equally adjunct faculty at Towson University and Loyola University. Patti is a member of the Greater Baltimore Cleft Lip and Palate Team. Karen has 20+ years experience working with caput and neck oncology patients and their families/friends. She enjoys helping patients reach their individual goals during and after therapy.
Karen has expertise in the management of tracheostomies. She is available for inpatient and outpatient tracheostomy consultations.
Karen is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society, and is active in the Guild of Otorhinolaryngology and Head-Cervix Nurses on both the local and national levels.

Her role is to support Surgical Oncology patients in their journeys from Diagnosis to Surgery Day and she has over 25 years of experience in doing so. She has a very warm and inviting smiling and personality that others are drawn to. She loves the interactions with our patients and is always willing to offering a kind, encouraging give-and-take, a hug or a express mirth to elevator their spirits.

Krystal is currently a Medical Assistant for the Milton J. Dance, Jr. Head and Neck Eye. She is a new medical banana. Afterward getting her certification in October 2018, she completed her internship at GBMC. Her duties include direct patient care, obtaining vitals, updating medical history, assisting with office procedures, processing labs and results, medication refills, monitoring patient flow, as well equally administrative support to physicians and office staff.
